This book is a basic introduction to the world of HR measurement and will help equip the hands-on HR manager with a comprehensive toolkit of commonly used measures that can be used for bench marking purpose. But far more critical than simply delivering these benchmarks is the need to integrate them into the organization's overall change agenda. Most HR benchmarking efforts provide descriptive information for the organization; no more that. A far more meaningful and powerful approach is to use these numbers to build a network of information that can be linked back to the organization's entire information pool to make changes and build predictive or forecasting models to plan for the future needs of the business.
