Public broadcasting and political interference
This book is about service broadcasters and why some service broadcasters are more independent of the government of the day than others. It is also about the impact of rules - legal rules which stipulate what politiciants can and cannot do in relation to public broadcasters, and broadcasters rulers, which give regulatory values for journalism, allowing certain practices and discouraging others. This book therefore stands at the junction of political science and media studies.
