Recently, Regency Jembrana has succeeded in engaging several popular programmes such as those relating to free fee education and health subsidy for the people. With regard to gender mainstreaming, it is interesting to arise a question how this regency implements the gender mainstreaming in all its policies and programmes of the regional development. Research using qualitative method conducted in the regency showed the implementation of the Minister of Home Affairs Decree No. 15 Year 2008 concerning the general guidance for the implementation of gender mainstreaming on the regional development has not been optimally achieved.
