India, Indonesia, and the New Cold War
This book is a collection of proceedings of the third Indo-Indonesia seminar between January 25-28, 1982 in New Delhi. The book consists of fifteen texts about contemporary global situation and rising tensions, the nonaligned movement, role of nonalignment, important developments in the Indian Ocean area, great power rivalry and stability in the Southeast Asia region, Japan and Southeast Asia, ASEAN and the Kampuchean Issue, China and Southeast Asia and its future, the new international economic order, prospects for South-South cooperation, and economic and technological cooperation between India and Indonesia. This book is suitable for research on the foreign relations in Asia during 1970s and 1980s.
